I remember when Ms. Margaret first proposed this idea out loud. I knew if anyone in the world could make this happen, SHE could, and with God’s help along with the people He sent alongside her, Hillsborough House of Hope became a viable entity in our community. The women that are served and nourished there show their gratitude by helping each other and striving to become active, productive and health both physically and spiritually. This is NOT a half-way house, but a home for holistic mediation preparing God’s women for Godly living. It’s truly the house that GOD’S MERCY built.”

They arrive simply with the clothes they are wearing and the hope for a new and better life. The loving boundaries set for them give them the freedom to make wise choices. They are affirmed of their dignity and purpose to be the women of grace, beauty and strength God designed them to be. It is a joy to share my time and learn from these women who are challenged each day to live a better life.
